Monocle is a social e-reader that transforms reading into a community-focused experience. Readers can seamlessly connect with one another through Monocle’s iOS and Android apps, which allow readers to share their annotations and discuss them with friends, classmates, or other readers within the e-book itself.
By remotely interning here the summer of 2023, I was able to elevate Monocle's app experience through insightful competitive analysis, driving effective design strategies that enhanced user-centered approaches. Simultaneously, I designed dynamic widgets and app features through daily challenges, incorporating prototyping for optimal user interactions. Lastly, collaborating closely with the CEO, I played an integral role in e-reader enhancements, ultimately contributing to a refined and engaging user experience.
