Hi, I'm Milan Rozier!
I'm a proud Michigander and aspiring UX/UI designer passionate about gaming, with a focus on accessibility and inclusive design within video games and tech. I recently earned my B.A. in Comparative Women’s Studies from Spelman College this past May, where I concentrated in Inclusive Multimedia Design and minored in Dance Performance & Choreography. And now, with full excitement, I'm starting my first year in the User Experience M.S. program at Michigan State University, where I'm so excited to learn more about UX and to become a better designer overall. GO GREEN!! 💚
Fun Facts About Me:
💻 Former Experience Design Intern at EA for The Sims 4
💃🏽 Aspiring NBA or NFL dancer for a Detroit team
🎤 Met Whitney Houston as a kid at a restaurant
🏁 Former colorguard Captain of the Morehouse College Marching Band (Spelman’s brother school)
My Role in UX
So far in my early UX career, I have experienced UX/UI design internships at both big and small companies. I've also explored a few different industries, including mobile apps, AR/VR, and video games. However, while I'm still exploring other fields to become well-rounded, my goal is to work in the video gaming industry without a doubt. Video games have always been a part of my life, ever since I saw my late dad play them when I was younger. Since then, I have grown up playing video games with both others and by myself, creating such fond memories.
Wanting to help others create those same meaningful experiences, I strive to be an impactful and mindful designer who centers accessibility and inclusion in every experience I create. I approach UX with empathy, curiosity, and a strong respect for diverse players and play styles, believing that thoughtful design can open doors rather than create barriers. Whether I’m designing systems, interfaces, or interactions, my goal is to ensure that everyone, no matter who they are, has the opportunity to feel seen, supported, and excited to play.
